Teresa Kout brings many years of real estate expertise in north metro Atlanta, serving Fulton, Cobb, Cherokee, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Forsyth and surrounding counties. The Kout Team was founded in 1985 by her mother-in-law and mentor, Lee Kout, a legend in the Atlanta Real Estate Community. Since joining the family real estate business in 2010, Teresa has become a consistent top-producing agent, working with sellers, buyers and investors, and she is a talented negotiator. She earned a Certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist designation through her experience with luxury properties and specialized training and has also personally invested in real estate.
Teresa utilizes exclusive Keller Williams Atlanta Market Reports from an independent data consultant detailing the most current information about the metro Atlanta real estate market. As a result, Teresa is able to help Sellers position their property to maximize money in their pocket while minimizing time on market. In addition, she uses this data and her extensive market knowledge to help Buyers maximize their ability to evaluate properties and property values, therefore arming her Buyers with the information necessary to make smart buying decisions.
Teresa earned a Chemistry degree from Duke University and spent many years in laboratories in Atlanta and South Florida, primarily as a forensic chemist with DEA and the Broward Sheriff’s office. She and her husband Steve have raised two incredible daughters. Teresa’s dedication to her community includes 9 years as a Girl Scout Leader and Troop Organizer.
